Hello. It’s been a while.
There are a whole load of reasons I’ve not been posting, none of which I’ll go into, but since I’ve not quite yet stopped buying gin (though I’ve slowed after seriously running out of space and risking the permanent ire of Mrs Raven!) I am planning to return with a slightly stripped down version of the blog.
I found the ‘blurb’ sections taking me longer to write and they had started putting me off sitting down to make the time to do the reviews (I actually have a few reviews from a long time ago in draft just waiting for the background to be added), so I’ll be dropping that entirely. In all honesty there are other blogs that do all of that much better, and I always preferred a ‘quick and simple’ review style anyway.
I’ll be doing much less in depth reviews and descriptions of the designs too, instead focussing on the actual liquid in the bottle!
I’ve made an attempt to update the Gin List today, and think I’ve got everything there, which means I can finally get back to doing what I loved most about this blog: drinking gin!
